The compromise was to make middle school kids go first, resulting in kids who need more sleep getting far less than recommended. [/quote] Actually, in Loudoun where I live (and in Henrico County in Richmond where I am from) this is how it's done and it's fine. My kids tardy bell rings at 7:50am. They wake at 7:00, bus comes at 7:28. It actually works really well. MS bus comes at 8, HS bus comes at 8:30. Pretty ideal to me.[/quote]
