But when I picked him up the next morning, he looked upset and really wanted to leave. As we drove away, DS basically said he spent the whole time watching and listening to the two of them argue. He said the littlest thing would trigger terrible comments to each other and he was so uncomfortable. He also said he thinks my dad is mean now. I was so crushed for him.

I'm mad at myself for trusting my dad (he was always like that) but also just mad that the two of them would put a little kid through that. They couldn't behave for a few hours while he was visiting?

Do I just let this go and distance myself? Or do I need to say something? [/quote]
