I know that your family and friends feel protective of you. Some of them may feel betrayed on their own account, since his actions hurt them too (in the way that their friend/family member was lying and hurting someone they care about). But they need to understand that badmouthing your ex to you is not a good way for them to deal with those feeling. Focusing on your child is helpful.[/quote]
