In early July, she reached out (again) and said that there may be a new opportunity and that she would contact me after 4th of July.  Well, I heard nothing.  So a couple of days ago, I reached and there has been no response.

Clearly not good signs.  But, wondering if this is normal in a large company - or in the summertime generally?  I just think they could have let me go in a no-harm-no-foul type way when the 1st opportunity failed to materialize.  But all these overtures have gotten my hopes up.  Now it feels like a bigger rejection.  Any thoughts or advice?[/quote]
