But I laughed when I read your post because the folks who recently moved in behind us just completed a huge to-the-studs renovation, including installing massive glass doors in the back of their house.  No window covers (yet?).  So when I stand at my kitchen sink and look out, I see straight into their house - the whole house since it is now open floor plan.  Their house is pretty far away but still but their back yard is much smaller than ours and they are almost on the property line ...  At night, when I'm washing up after dinner, I look out my window and see their whole house interior on display.  With the lights blazing it is quite a show as they get their young ones rounded up, bathed and then settled down for the night!  It makes me feel awkward, like a Peeping Tom, even though I'm trying not to look.  But it is hard not to look out my own window.  Anyway, I saw the family out in the yard yesterday and they mentioned how much they like the doors because they get so much more light.  I didn't say anything.  Sigh.

We have some serious landscaping to do on our side.
