I was very unimpressed with the highly-regarded center-based care that we looked at when DD was an infant. Worked for her as an older toddler and preschooler but we much preferred the home environment that we ended up in. Provider was licensed for up to 9 kids. She typically had between 7 and 9, and always had two assistants. Kids typically ranged from 1 or 2 infants with a number of 1-3yr olds. [/quote]
