Just tell them no knocking after 8:30.  Easy peasy.  It's too late for you, but clearly not too late for them - since it is more than one family.  You can't make them abide by your rules (except for at your house).

I understand, though - my kids (who go to bed at 8:30) stare longingly outside while the other (older) kids are still out playing.  :D [/quote]
