Thank you for your helpful feedback! Do you mind elaborating on the types of kinks you are referring to?  Why do you think some children suceed and other don't?

Will the new princiapl be exclusively over the Immersion program or the entire school? Do you know of any local aftercare programs that have assisted the immersion students during this transition?

The main kink that I am referring to the communication flow between the administration and parents.  Finding out at the last minute about various things or not finding out at all.  Towards the end of the school year, the lines got a lot better.   I can’t speculate about why some children don’t fit into the program, while others do, because each child is unique and have motivators that differ.  The number one problem that I observed was kids who were not well-behaved and had various issues when it came to behavior.  Seemed liked they were at least 2-3 of those kids in every class.   Next year, there is supposed to be a para in each class which is significant, since the teacher will have more time to teach and will have help to deal with the other classroom issues.   The new Principal will be for the entire school.  [/quote]
