But among DCUM types/gentrifiers, the dual langauge program is more desirable. The issue is the same all over the city -- as kids get older middle and high school loom large and some families leave for what they believe are better middle and/or high school options when they arise. Lots of energy and hope about the new MacFarland, but that's at best a work in progress. [/quote]
