Thinking optimistically about receiving an offer, I'd like to ensure that it's a functional business (especially given its small size), and one where I could be for the long term.  Ideally, I'd like to work in a place with partnership potential and where I can grow my practice area.

What questions are appropriate for me to ask during this first interview?  Are there any red flags I should be looking for?
