What could stop them from asking us to pay $1700 for the table- how do we even know they didn't buy this thing at a flea market for $25??? Anyone else deal with something like this? It is making me seriously think twice about using Airbnb again as I feel guests have little to no recourse in situations like this. My husband wants to just pay it but is wrong to ask for a receipt for the table to verify cost? [/quote]
