Mine started at 10 months. He's 21 months and I seriously thought there was something wrong with him and took him to the pediatrician. Of course he was perfectly wonderful in her office and she looked at me like I was psychotic. All I can say is, good luck to you. Life in our house is nuts- he disassembled a door...a freakin door today...like pulled out all the screws and threw them at me laughing because I told him he couldn't go on the porch.
You let a 21 month old unsupervised long enough to pull screws out of a door? The problem isn't with your kid.
Actually I didn't. But grandma can't see very well but loves to spend time with him so I went out to the post office and told him specifically to stay away from the door to the porch, she said he was playing nicely with his little gardening kit by the door and turns out, he was pulling the push pins out. I came home and the lock part on the bottom came right off. She thought it was wonderfully clever. I was not as amused.
