Mostly I'm hoping that the tests weren't mistaken and that this isn't some kind of sign I may have PPROM again with this pregnancy. I read about the tests for amniotic fluid the next day, and according to Google (I know  :roll: ) they are frequently inaccurate if the "rupture" occurred more than a couple hours prior to the testing. By the time they did the tests, 4.5 hours had passed since the initial event. Just overly anxious about it and hoping someone can pipe in that they had a similar experience that was ultimately totally benign.  [/quote]

This just happen to me, but I'm only 20 weeks, so I'm praying/hoping is not PPROM. It happened yesterday, got the strip test around 3 1/2 hrs later (negative for amniotic fluid) and ultrasound to measure fluid level (AFI) , AFI seems normal so far (measured yesterday/today) so we're still hopeful. No clue what the sudden watery discharge was. Got  tested for vaginal infections today to discard that too. Recommended no exercise, no efforts, monitor temperature, and if no sudden gushes, re-check in one week.

OP here. I feel a little disconcerted that I got none of those recommendations, no u/s, and no re-check was requested.  :?  I guess I will be requesting it on my own.
