Don't get caught up in the score on the tryout fields, don't worry about where your friends are, don't tackle recklessly. Get the ball into play quickly, try to keep the ball in play (don't whack it out).

As a parent - stay out of the way. Don't stress out your kid or bother the coach. Don't cheer at a tryout or do anything else to label yourself as a crazy parent. [/quote]
