Can your kids handle the beach all day? Mine can't. They need to get out of the sun and enjoy other diversions (like minigolf, games, rides).

Do you intend to pack meals or do you want access to restaurants?

Do you prefer to go on the beach by the boardwalk or a state park?

We plan to do a daytrip on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend if the weather is projected to be nice.

We will leave by 6am, and head to Bethany.  We will park a couple blocks off the main drag so we can walk to the boardwalk for bathrooms and restaurants.

We will have an early dinner on our way into rehoboth to hit the boardwalk for rides and games. Then we will get ice cream at our favorite little spot before throwing the kids back in the family truckster...and hopefully they'll sleep on the ride home. [/quote]
