If you are looking for something more functional/useful, a really nice hooded towel (not one of the thin, flimsy newborn ones but a thick, bigger one they can use for years) and washcloth set is a good gift; or maybe something they can use later on that they are less likely to have already received as a gift like a basket full of nice toddler feeding supplies-we loved this bowl and plate set (http://www.potterybarnkids.com/products/pink-sentiment-feeding-set/?pkey=btabletop-and-feeding&&btabletop-and-feeding), sippies, utensils, bibs
