[/quote] No - you need to teach him not to drag his feet. If it is a particular area that he is hard on (like the toes), look into shoes that are rubber at that point. In the interim, another alternative is to get him some cheaper play shoes - check out 6 pm and look to see what sort of clearance shoes they have in his size. Many times, the shoes are just ugly, but decent shoes that have a crazy pattern colors, etc (I've seen Nike, New Balance, etc in this category). Or head to the outlets and find the cheapest shoes Nike has in his size. I think SR has closed all of their outlet stores in this area.[/quote]
