I often hear my son is tall for his age and he is often mistaken for being older. He lost his 2 front teeth in a playground incident a year ago, so I attributed the 'older' comments because most 4-year-olds have all their teeth. He is taller than some of the kids in his class, but I don't see that much difference. He is 44.5" and 46 lbs. at 4 years 8 months.
my 4.6 month old just about identical stats. he has always been told he's tall. he is also very stocky...he was a very chubby baby and toddler....he keeps growing taller but his weight has remained btwn 45-47lbs for a very, very long time:). I take that as a good sign...he's sprouting. Drs predict he will be around 6'2". I am only 5'5" and the runt of my entire family...(all girl--siblings and cousins are between 5'8"-5'10")..and I'm married to a stocky 5'10 man..so I am hoping my son takes after my brother/dad/grandfather in height..but still be happy if he is dad's size.
obv. meant 4 year 6 month old
