If you haven't been in the current job long and then take this job but realize the commute is impossible, then you'll be looking to leave quickly, and you will have two short stints on your resume.  Most employers will forgive one, because everyone has an experience where they take something only to realize it isn't a good fit.  But two in a row looks bad.

A lot also depends on the 60 miles.  If it is 60 miles outside of the DMV area and against traffic and during slightly off hours, then that isn't so bad.  If it is 60 miles in DC during rush hour, then that's going to be painful.

Is there a way that you could get childcare near the job?  If you do take it, that seems like the best plan.  Then you won't be stressing out about trying to get to daycare on time.
