Not the PP you're responding.  I come from a long line of substance abusers/mentally ill people.  You are focusing your anger on your brother but your parents are to blame for their predicament  You say your father is an MD?  He should be familiar with this type of illness (and it is an illness despite your disbelief).  I know first hand how difficult it is to say no to a loved one and him ending up on the streets/homeless.  It's either that let yourself be sucked dry emotionally, physically and financially.  Your brother didn't make your parents do anything.  They chose to do so.  You should share your anger with them.[/quote]
