Father Scalia is indeed a very holy, humble person.
Yes, humble but with steely resolve. He set up a meeting with a renegade "Catholic" (Think old hippies). They brought in all well known canon lawyer. The other Diocesan officials crumbled, but not Father Scalia. He has seen a few good lawyers, you know! Father used the meeting to get these people on the record. When this Pope moves on, they'll get taken care of.
What PP means is that the Diocese can't disband this "Catholic" community because Francis just might support them. Better to wait him out, and then order their community dissolved once a less hopey-changey Pope comes in. And yes, when you as a lay community think you can invite your own priests in from wherever, and think you can use the previous Mass translation (blessing "all rather than the accurate "many"), and you think you have no responsibility to purchase your fair share of the Arlington Catholic Herald, then yes you should be dissolved. It's just too bad word of this "alternative Catholic community" only came to the surface once this "pope" took the Throne.
