Aren't you just Little Miss Sunshine?!  You're totally projecting yourself into what OP said, cuz you're probably one of the lazy government drones who do the bare minimum.  OP never said she didn't do boring work as well as the high profile stuff,mand her boss said she'd ONLY be doing bullshit work from now on.  What a great reward for doing a good job.

So how was she supposed to be "more sensitive"?  Do a shitty job?  Apolgize for get get the assignment in the first place?
