Trust your doctor. It's very possible you just felt anxious at the beginning of the appointment. My DH's doctor ordered an EKG his first visit just because his heart rate fell outside of the "normal," no further action when nothing unusual was found. My doc takes blood pressure at beginning and end and it is almost always lower at the end because being "moved through" from waiting room to scale to getting up on the table to temperature to being measured etc is a bit stress inducing. Are you overweight at all? If so, I'd work on that. I'm on Vyvanse and it does put my pulse up in the 90's but it doesn't seem to impact my blood pressure as long as I stay below a certain weight.
I dont know if I'm overweight but I have gained about 15 pounds over the past 6 months (!!!) due I think to the stress of the situation I was in. Working on losing it now and getting back to my regular weight, cause I have never been this size before. So that very well might have a lot to do with it And yes, I was nervous at the beginning. I forced myself to calm down at the end, but like I said my stress levels have been driven up exponentially by the situation I was in and sometimes I still get panicky, so it wasn't just a one time thing, unfortunately. I have decided to try to be mindful though, and try to calm myself down when I start to worry. Thanks for the advice. This gives me even more incentive to lose this weight.
