We recently call Stixrud and were told they were scheduling into the summer, so even out of pocket is not a guarantee (we're on the younger end though, and thus I think fewer providers are good options for us, may be easier if your kid is older). But got into KKI within 3? months via the cancellation list. Also try Children's outpatient locations - generally a shorter wait in, say, Rockville, than at the main hospital. It was a 6ish month wait a few weeks ago in Rockville - which still gives you an eval before next school year (though that is not "soon" by any stretch).[/quote]
