DC has a very hard time speaking clearly because of difficulty with certain letter combinations--especially vowels combined with r. DC is also a very messy eater and always has been, so I think there be an issue either with the jaw muscle or tongue--though they could be two totally unrelated issues. Any thoughts you have would be great![/quote] Not PP but higher order language probably means pragmatics. Your kid may have low tone which contributes to the articulation issues and messy eating. Pragmatics is more related to social exchanges, greeting others, carrying on conversations etc.[/quote]
