It was a lot of sleeping, eating, watching TV from bed (I never get to watch TV!), and then some romance after I felt not so tired.  But I will tell you that as much fun as it was with him, I could have gone without him, because I just needed a break to recharge, and he was a little disappointed that we didn't make a movie, but I didn't want to "have to be somewhere at some specific time."

This was an expensive present, btw (hotel, meals, babysitter)

Now since we are all anonymous, I'll say that this hotel was also in my hometown, which is a resort town, but since I'm a local (even though I haven't lived there in 30 years) every time I go into town my mother puts me to work on her projects/errands etc.  I just wanted to experience it as a tourist.  So we went and didn't tell my mom.  I've never stayed in the hotels, even, because of course we'd stay with my mom normally.  It was heaven.[/quote]
