I then received a series of texts from her stating that she couldn't pick it up because various things were happening at her home and that she appreciated me making it and I should enjoy it.  I appreciate that I offered to make it and perhaps it was my responsibility to get it to her but I also feel like it's not asking too much of my friend (or her husband) to pick it up.
