Start cooking your own food, people. Your kids need to see how to do that.
Clip coupons/use grocery store apps. I saved over $30 yesterday at Safeway between their app and paper coupons. The original order was under $100. Safeway is running milk at a discount for the entire month, and anyone with kids can realize that can save a dollar or two easily.
Aside from toiletries and eggs, I noticed coupons were always for things that are really unhealthy. Cookies, other junk food.
Let's see, I see everything from butter to pasta to meatballs. Sometimes, I see condiment coupons. That is just paper coupons. At least with Safeway, if you buy enough of something often, you will get a discount most people do not get. The digital coupons are updated every Wednesday, and sometimes, they do not expire for a month or two.
