[/quote] This must just depend on the HGC. When my DS was at one several years back, there were always at least two math tracks (and even some kids switching to an on grade level class for math). The top class in each grade was enriched and fast paced, nothing like a compacted math 5 today. And then there were still a couple students bussing out of the HGC for math.[/quote]
