This hasn't changed. For both our kids, it was made quite clear at the open house for admitted students that the HGCs do not have a different math curriculum. I do know a family who has kids (multiples) who are in compacted math, one at an HGC and one at the home school. They think that the compacted math at the HGC (which is taught by a full time advanced math specialist) is more challenging than at the home school but the curriculum that is followed is the same. Perhaps they do additional work in the HGC and the peer group is the same, but they are not accelerated beyond the compacted math curriculum. [/quote]
