When we got offered a spot, we had only 2 days to accept and then followed up with the first month's tuition 1-2 weeks later. It's possible to defer while holding your spot on the waiting list, but you can only do that a limited number of times. We accepted immediately so I can't speak to that. Some of this MAY be atypical since they had to get far enough along with construction and licensing to make sure that they could actually start taking people when they said they would, and then try to fill up the center from the wait list. They did it in batches since they had to offer spaces to X people, see how many accepted, then offer the remaining spaces to Y people, etc. They may have a less tight time frame for responding to an opening in the future.[/quote]
