Victory! But man was that ridiculous (calls to Rockville Neuropsych, to get them to transfer me to someone to transfer me, etc etc etc). Anyway, for future reference of others, should they search, until they change #s, apparently the direct neurodevelopmental # is 202-476-5764 for the admin side for questions. But if that doesn't work, calling the Rockville number 301-765-5400, lets you select for developmental peds, which also routes you the same way. 301-765-5400 can be used to schedule in Rockville as well, and 202-476-3508 can be used to schedule in DC. Neuropsychology won't schedule you until your kid actually turns 4 (never mind the 6 month wait that would have made her 4 by the time we got in - in fact she'll be 4 by the time dev peds sees her). Neurodevelopmental will make you see their NP instead of a doc if you're 0-5 (so they tell me) if she's available, short of an unusual medical issue. But then at least you're in the pipeline. Of course it's an 8 month wait, but whatever, I knew that was coming. Will now go call Rockville to see if they have a sooner appointment (because ridiculously main children's can't schedule for Rockville because that would be too easy). I really think this should be easier...
