PP here - in that case, I might invite a few neighbors over for coffee/tea and set the house blessing for just before. Or wait a month or two until you've met a handful of folks and make a small, casual party out of it. A light dinner with the priest would be very nice too and no priest I know would be unhappy to be invited in to share a meal with a parishioner. Best of luck in the move. [/quote]
