One grandfather was 6'.[/quote] Still a relevant question--one of the more reliable formulas for predicting adult height is to add the parents' heights together, add 5 inches for boys, then divide by two. That number is usually plus or minus two inches of their child's adult height (according to the Mayo Clinic, I believe). Another formula is to double a boy's height at 24 months. Being extremely tall at 13 does not mean he will continue to grow at that rate. I was very tall at age 12... and then pretty much stopped growing. My parents are average height, and so am I. Using one of those formulas would take a random guess to the level of educated guess, which is what you asked for.[/quote] I hope this isn't that true!
