It sounds like it was the 2 of you & now it is you and 2-6 others, plus her. Maybe she prefers to just be with you. Maybe a really nice lunch on Christmas Eve, or a movie Christmas night after you have dinner with the boyfriend. When someone says, "I am doing this, and you are more than welcome to join," what I hear is "I am doing what I want. Do what I say or get out of the way." [/quote]
