I'm looking to get a gift for someone who is a big foodie, works in the industry and all, etc who has expressed interest in a coffee setup at home. Where do I start? What items, what brands, good beans? What's the minimum she would need to start drinking something?
Do you know this person's schedule? Does she rush out of the house to get to work in the morning, or works from home? My perfect gift would be a pour-over kit: a ceramic dripper (Chemex is a waste of $$ and the output is the same), a pack of filters, and a pack of designer-roasted coffee beans. However, such a gift would not work for me because I eat breakfast in the office and my morning coffee comes from the office Keurig :( but it would be perfect for a WFH or SAH person who has the time to make coffee.
