He should know, though, as companies are typically transparent about it with the employees. Monitoring is usually used as a deterrent of bad behavior. That only works if people know they're being watched. Mine, for instance, lets us know our overall data usage is monitored and people using too much will be asked to explain/justify. So in my case, I know they care if I use more than 2 GB per month but not really what I'm using the data for so much.[/quote]
