Let me tell you what's good about my experience of owning a small dog.

1. She's not a jerk
2. She's smart and was easy to train 
3. She doesn't pull on the leash and isn't able to overpower me
4. I spend much less on food, treats and vet visits 
5. She doesn't take up as much space as the large dogs I know do
6. She fits in an airline approved carrier that can fit under the seat, so if I ever need to fly somewhere and she has to come she can
7. Easier to clean up after when we go on walks
8. I can carry her if I need to
9. She fits perfectly in my lap 
10. She can easily share the bed with us
11. Giving her a bath is easy and I don't get soaked and need to clean the whole bathroom or house when she's done.

But like I said, I like big dogs too, these are just me reasons why I think small dogs are great for some people. Why would any dog or animal lover start a thread to hate a whole group of dogs just because of their size? So rude...[/quote]
