This is no different than if you wanted to take your kid out of school for a family vacation on Columbus day weekend because you have an extra day. You are in the minority that is traveling early to get where you want to go, so you have to take responsibility for your choice. The majority who are staying in town want to have their kids in school for the day. Frankly, I really don't need to take an extra day off from work just because you want to start your holiday early.[/quote]
