He doesn't care for a plate with 10 different garnishes and sauces etc. He is also picky about things like onions in food (insert eye roll here) So a tasting menu would never interest him. He likes American, Asian, Italian, Seafood but any other type of ethnic food wouldn't work. So somewhere that would suit his tastes but might have a couple more adventurous items for myself Thanks for your help :)[/quote] That makes it a bit difficult. I would go to Black's in Bethesda. Then he can get a steak or fish and you can get something interesting. If it has to be in DC, I think I would do Bourbon Steak. [/quote]
