I'm not sure what your alternative is -- do you SAH, does your kid have a nanny, is your kid in a home daycare?  My kid was in morning preschool only, and it was fine, but I don't really feel it provided anything he "needed" at age 2.  Age 3 is a very different ballgame.  He talks about friends in the class, really seems to be learning substantial things in school (like counting -- even though it's a play-based school entirely), and is clearly excited to go.[/quote]
