Hikes, camping, community projects, etc. I wasn't a fan of Boy Scouts because of the controversy that surrounded the organization, but my kid really wanted to try it out. I let him and it's been great. The organizational issues didn't effect individual packs. There are some great parents and kids and most of us have widely different views than the organization had. Plus all that seems to be turning now too, so we'll see how it goes. [/quote]
