Actually, I don't get this mentality at all. If my brother said not to bring the dog, we wouldn't. And my feelings wouldn't be hurt at all! Honestly. We only bring her because we stop there for a night or two visit on the way to my in-laws - and since they are so far away, we have to make it worth everyone's while and stay for at least a week. I could and would find a sitter for my dog for a week if my in-laws didn't want her there. When my brother comes, it's only for 1-2 nights. I don't understand people who can't be away from their pets for 1-2 nights. [/quote]
