And he did not gaffe re: guns/Nazis. He was 100% correct.
You seriously think that if the Jews had guns the Holocaust wouldn't have happened? Have you been power watching "Rambo" and "Red Dawn" again? Well organized military troops vs. armed, untrained individuals does not go well for the armed, untrained individuals.
And yet....the feds backed down when faced with our own militia. Unless you are suggesting that our own government is planning an uprising and ethnic cleansing? I know Obama is hoping he can accomplish this, but that damn pesky congress keeps getting in his way....
You are grossly misguided and seriously mistaken on your assessment of why the feds backed down from Bundy. If they had wanted to do something as truly bizarre (but which apparently somehow makes some kind of deranged sense in your warped mind) as executing Cliven Bundy, they would have done so, militia or no. The only reason there were Clark County SWAT officers was for the BLM's protection, since they had gotten wind of the fact that Cliven Bundy put out a call for crazies to come and point guns at the BLM while they rounded up cattle. Killing Bundy or shooting anyone was never their intent. NEVER. They were only there to round up trespassing cattle and to serve Bundy with a court order. PERIOD. END OF STORY. No "militia" needed.
