Does anyone find it a conflict of interest that once David Black evaluates your child, he refers them to his psychologist wife for treatment? "Oh, I think weekly therapy is definitely what YOUR child needs." But everyone who comes through that office ends up there. I guess if she's great, that's fine, but I would like a choice of therapists or suggestions for ones that are more suited to my child.
He evaluated my child and never mentioned his wife.
Same and he never brought up PEERs probably bc my child is too young. He did refer us to a great psychiatrist (no relation) who we love.
Same. He recommended a few other psychiatrists. We have stayed in touch with him just because we like to talk to him now and then. He's an insightful guy, and has never pushed his own services to us.
