Please do not perpetuate a false rumor about vaccines to your children. This supposed researcher has led to a disaster in public health. It's a disgrace! Although he lost his medical license he has tried to recreate the original study without success. He cannot obtain the same results. Gee, I wonder why?!

As for the teacher suggesting that the students must have vaccines to attend school she is correct for some vaccines. Students are required to show proof of vaccines to attend school (with a few exceptions). However, the flu vaccine is not required that I know of in any district in this area so, if she said this, then she was incorrect. I don't think I'd go as far as saying she lied, but rather she made a mistake. However, before you flip out and complain I would make sure that when she said that vaccines are required for school that she was actually talking about the flu vaccine. She may have been talking about the other vaccines which are required and your child simply misunderstood.[/quote]
