Academic experience amongst schools is very similar. The majority of students at most schools in Silver Spring perform rather poorly, so the judgment to be made is whether and how you think it will affect your own child's education.  Most with a choice and the money to pay for homes districted for higher-performing schools do not take that risk. [/quote]
