Fast forward a year, we've been trying to get in touch with them for months to come out and take a look at some issues that begin shortly after we moved into the house. We finally received a response saying that they'll come look but houses settle and nail pops are to be expected.  That's all fine but in addition to a few nail pops and wall cracks that we have chalked up to settling, all of the floor and crown molding has cracked away from the walls (since month 1). It's really unsightly and I think it's beyond your average settling. Perhaps they used cheap glue or ill fitting molding, I haven't a clue but I also don't know what to do. Our hardwood floors are also beginning to creak pretty badly. Does anyone know if these things are easy fixes? Is it worth suing them if they keep putting us off until the warranty runs out?
