Just out of curiosity (I have young kids and have no idea if they will ever be in AAP), are class sizes capped for the AAP classes differently than the regular classrooms? I had pictured this as a way for a more intimate teaching setting - say with a classroom in the low 20s max of students. Is this not the case? Seems like the point should be to provide a more innovative and individualized classroom setting for these children.
AAP classes should never be smaller than Gen Ed classes. AAP kids are already given advantages such as getting to choose between their base school or the center. In no way, shape, or form should they then be given the smaller classes, while the Gen Ed students have to put up with larger classes. There's enough inequity as it is.
