If you want to stick with your current cabinets, you can either paint them (recommend getting this professionally done) or "refaced".  You could also look into a more expensive option of getting new cabinet doors on your existing cabinets. Depends how custom your current kitchen is. If it's not that custom of a kitchen, or if it's already an ikea kitchen, then it would be really easy to swap out the doors. But then you have the problem of what color are the inside of your cabs? And what about the little facing strip on the front of the cabinets behind the doors?  Are your doors slab style so that this strip is essentially fully covered? Or do you need to replace that strip?

Quartz will be around $100 a sf installed - give or take $20sf depending on the installer and color you pick. If you go to ikea during a kitchen sale, they have some nice ceasarstone quartz at prices that cannot be beaten.

Back splash prices are going to be so all over the place it's not worth quoting. You can get the classic white subway tile from home depot and easily do it yourself - for $200 total. Or you can go to ann sacks and spend $10k including labor.  [/quote]
